At the invitation of Brig-Gen. Aung Thein Lynn, Mayor of Yangon and Chairman of Yangon City Development Committee (YCDC) of the Union of Myanmar, H.E. Mr. Chen Haosu, President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries led a 4-member-delegation to visit Myanmar on 20 December 2004.

Col. Maung Par, Vice Mayor of Yangon and Vice Chaiman of YCDC and officials as well as Ambassador Li Jinjun and Councilor Yu Boren of the Chinese Embassy went to the airport to receive the delegation.
